Restoration.
There comes a point when something has been so used, or abused, that it is so weakened, cracked, or frayed that it can no longer serve its intended purpose. There comes a time when you decided to discard or restore.
If the something is special to you, you choose restoration. Even if it is not fully-functional after the pieces are put back together, you keep it as an object that holds memories of someone, something, or of yourself from a different time. Those memories are part of what defines you.
Psalm 85 is a prayer to God to restore the would-again-be faithful to the relationship with God that they remember.
What attitude do you need to adjust with God to strengthen your relationship with Jesus?
